Crank, Hamilton Grab Medals
Highland Park senior Mary Beth Hamilton (2:13.34) and sophomore Gabby Crank (2:13.86) finished second and third, respectively, in the Class 4A 800-meter run at the state track and field meet.
Crank also got second in the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 39-6.5 on her final attempt.
After failing to finish the 3200-meter run, junior Natalie Rathjen finished fifth in the 1600 late Friday night.
