Lady Scots Fall in State Championship Game
In its first trip to state, Denton Guyer stunned defending Class 4A state champs Highland Park, 2-1, in the finals on Saturday.
The loss was the first in 50 games for Highland Park (25-1-5).
Katie Martin scored the only goal for the Lady Scots. It was her 40th of the season. Highland Park has won five state titles.
