Lady Scots Roll Into 4A Final
The Highland Park girls soccer team topped Cedar Park, 2-1, in a Class 4A state semifinal today in Georgetown.
The defending state champion Lady Scots (25-0-5) will take on Denton Guyer (27-1-0) in the championship match at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Highland Park, which is unbeaten in its last 49 games, got a goal and an assist from freshman Savannah Jones. Diana Kay Manley scored the other goal. Sara Summers also had an assist.
