City to Test Emergency Response at Love Field
The City of Dallas will be doing an emergency response exercise from 12:01 to 3 a.m. Wednesday at Love Field to “evaluate response capabilities.” Specifically, the tests will run inside the secured area of the airport. Don’t worry, you won’t be needing those earplugs. Emergency response vehicles will be preset and onsite, so you won’t hear any noise barreling down Mockingbird Lane.
“There will be radio traffic; if you have a city radio you would hear it, but they will all say this is an exercise,” public information officer Jose Torres said. “Fire trucks won’t be running with their sirens in the middle of the night.”
