There could be some serious offensive fireworks tonight as Highland Park wraps up non-district play with a 7:30 game at Sherman tonight.

The Bearcats are 2-0, but both of their games have been wild shootouts. Sherman beat Little Elm, 57-56, in the opener, and then knocked off Sulphur Springs, 49-44, last week. Not a whole lot of defense going on there.

Meanwhile, the Scots (1-1) are coming off a 34-23 win over Monterrey (Mexico) Tec that was a 31-point game heading into the final minute.

Highland Park has a bye next week before opening District 10-4A play at home against Forney on Sept. 28.
