7-Eleven — Preston Hollow’s Hottest Lunch Spot
And when I say “hottest,” I mean “sweatiest.”
My wife works in the Preston Hollow area, and she has recently taken my advice about what a fast, cheap, filling lunch one can get at 7-Eleven. But her experience at the corner of Preston and Forest has been much different from mine downtown. While I wait in line among a handful of construction workers and other office drones, my wife tells me she has to wade through dozens of lawn crews and landscapers. She says the line to use the microwave sometimes stretches out the door.
This all makes sense. There are hundreds of expansive lawns that need to be maintained in Preston Hollow, and 7-Eleven has to be the quickest, cheapest option for the men maintaining them. But can any other patrons confirm my better half’s experience?
