Hipps, Duke in Lacrosse Final Four

Former Highland Park two-sport star Chris Hipps and the Duke Blue Devils have made it to the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Final Four.

Duke (15-4) will take on Maryland (11-5) at 4 p.m. Saturday in Foxborough, Mass., on ESPN2. The Blue Devils, who are ranked No. 3 in the nation, split a pair of regular-season games with the Terps. The other national semifinal pits Loyola against Notre Dame. The championship game is Monday.

Hipps, a sophomore defenseman, has played in all 19 games for Duke. The Blue Devils won their first national title in 2010.
