You Don’t Have to Drive to Georgetown to Watch The Lady Scots Play

While I’m sure plenty of kids will be “sick” tomorrow, those opting to skip the trip to Georgetown to watch the girls soccer team can still catch the action at home.

All 4A and 5A games will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable (channel 185) and streamed online at Fox Sports Southwest. The girls take on Waco Midway at 11 a.m. If they win, the championship game will be Saturday, at 4 p.m.

I thought everybody in the Park Cities with cable had their service through Charter. Am I right, Park Cities people? If so, what Charter channel will the games be on?

Dan- I no longer think that’s the case.

Maybe we were both kinda right. From George Lewis, SideDish contributor, Park Cities resident, all-around gentleman:

“Not everyone has cable. But those that do have Charter. AT&T Uverse is an option.”

That still means no one has TWC, unless you live in that Dallas sliver of HPISD.

High school students are actually allowed to go to the game as an excused absence if their parents write them a note. I also believe they might be required to bring back their ticket stub so they can’t just take the day off pretending to go the game.

Was at HPHS yesterday while they showed the game on the big screen in the cafeteria during lunch. Very fun to hear the cheers erupt as the students reacted to great plays and goals! Good call by the administration and congrats, ladies!
