Planning and Zoning to Tackle YMCA Project Tonight

We’ve talked about this before, but now the rubber meets the road. The University Park Planning and Zoning Commission will take up the proposed Park Cities YMCA expansion at tonight’s meeting. Kicks off at 5 p.m.

You can check out all of the documents at the University Park website.

I’ve covered lots of different zoning issues at my various stops, and I gave up trying to guess what planning and zoning folks will do because of it. I honestly have no idea what might happen tonight. See you there?

Come on, that’s easy! They’ll do whatever the Community League tells them to do! Of course, SMU probably doesn’t care, so it’s tough to predict what the CL’s instructions will be.

We want to thank everyone for their insight and thoughts about our proposed new Park Cities YMCA facility. Strengthening community is our cause, and we want to make sure this project best serves the community in as many ways as possible. Again, thank you for your feedback and passion for this issue.
