Fathers, Sons Invited to Motivational Speech

Boys in grades 4-12 and their fathers may want to be at Highland Park Middle School a week from Saturday. That’s when the Family Place and Highland Park ISD are hosting former Baltimore Colts defensive tackle Joe Ehrmann, who wants to inspire young men to be their best. His presentation — “Manmade: Growing Boys With Heart” — begins at 10 a.m.

“I highly recommend Joe Ehrmann’s presentation for fathers and sons of Highland Park,” said Scots head football coach Randy Allen. “Joe does a great job of motivating young men to be men of integrity. He also inspires fathers to be great encouragers to their sons.”

Admission is $10 for adult and $5 per child. That price includes a barbecue lunch from Dickey’s. For more information, contact Nicole Farrar at 214-443-7717 or nlfarrar@familyplace.org.
