Where’s The Best Place in The Park Cities to Buy Pies?

Eater Dallas had a map yesterday of the best places in Dallas to buy a pie. Kathleen’s Sky Diner made the list, which got me thinkin’: what’s the best place in the Park Cities area to buy those delectable desserts?

The Mrs. will probably whip up a pumpkin for Thursday, but, you know, just in case.

We got Our pumpkin and pecan pies from Rosebud’s (Lovers and tollroad). Owners could not be nicer and pies were delicious!

I would stay away from Celebrity Bakery at HPV. The iced cookies are great, but every cake I’ve ever had has been stale and/or bad, bad, bad. I wouldn’t risk the pies. And they are sooo over priced.
Celebration Restaurant, Bread Winners, Kathleen’s and Rosebud’s all have good reputations.
Not fancy, but I woofed down about a half of a coconut chess pie from the bakery section of Kroger. It was yummy.

We are getting ours from Creme de la Cookie this year! They are beautiful and I have yet to try anything from there that isn’t delicious and of the best quality.

Tootie Pie’s are amazing and can now be purchased at the Tootie Pie location at Preston and Royal by Oreck. Their buttermilk pie is simply terrific, the best I have ever had. Their apple pie is Texas sized. It has 6 lbs of apples in every pie.
