No doubt one of his many rewards for writing the letter against the alcohol propositions last year.

Is it true that he will be flinging FOUR LOKOs from his float? If so, may I request LOKO Uva flavor.

A few miscellaneous comments come to mind:

    1. I’ll buy extra beer at the Snider Plaza Tom Thumb to mark the occasion.

    2. So the lifeguard from the UP pool incident earlier this week was unavailable?

    3. Pray for rain on the 4th. Maybe it will replenish some of the water Dr. Turner has been unlawfully wasting on his practice field the last few afternoons.

I am so tired of seeing Turner’s smug mug. The only thing he has done for SMU is build buildings and solicit donations to improve U.S. News & World Report rankings in an attempt to turn SMU into the next Vanderbilt. This doesn’t necessitate removing fun by the way (eliminating week of welcome, reading days for exams, etc).

Ask any Cox student about the quality of their education, about their professors’ real world experience. All that cash should be going to hire some competent and dedicated faculty members, and maybe a refresh of the school’s biggest draw, the business school. Did the theology school REALLY need a makeover?
