This is a photo of the “snowcone” one of my kids bought at the University Park Pool/Holmes Aquatic Center today. Two. Dollars. For real. About 8 ounces of crushed ice and and a little flavoring. Two. Dollars. Developing.

    Don’t buy if you don’t like it. Bring your own snacks/drinks. They charge for paper plates, too; bring your own if you bring pizza.

    They were $1 two years ago. We would stop to get them even if we weren’t swimming that day. Ahhh, the good old days……

    You ever buy drinks or snacks at the movies? $2 doesn’t seem so bad. But like DS said, don’t buy it if you don’t like the price.

    Bill and his family are a part of this community! Could we make our own snow cones? Yes, but part of summer and our family tradition is having a snow cone t the UP pool!
