Clayton Dabney Foundation Seeks Support

Helmed by two Highland Park High School freshmen, the Clayton Dabney Foundation Kids Golf Classic is now accepting registrants, in an effort to earn money for the foundation.

Kate Ficke and Jake Potter are serving as co-chairs of this year’s Classic, which, in its fourth year, added a Splash Bash Pool Party.

The event kicks off at 1 p.m., Monday, June 6, at Las Colinas Country Club. The cost is $200 per registrant, or $50 for just the pool party. All money raised goes to support the foundation, which raises money to grant anonymous gifts, last wishes, and financial assistance to families of children facing the final stages of terminal cancer.

Students can forgo the $200 or $50 fees if they raise the money through personal fundraising. All fundraising is due by 5 p.m. Friday.
