Providence Home to Cutest Pioneers Ever
Providence Christian School is knee-deep in history, with four of five period-themed days completed. Thus far, students have enjoyed dressing up in Pioneer, Colonial, Texas, and Mesopotamia garb, which is today’s theme. During Pioneer Day, second graders sang folk songs, played old-fashioned games, and panned for gold at the gold rush station. They also pulled wool, practiced shaving with lather and butter knives, and played with antique toys. The final history day is April 27 and will cover the Middle Ages. Check out more photos of pioneer fun after the jump.
