Home Opener Finally Arrives For Jesuit
Although the regular season in high school football is almost over, the Jesuit Rangers will be playing their first home game when they take on Lake Highlands for homecoming at 7:30 tomorrow night.
Haggar Stadium will reopen after undergoing massive renovations, including a new playing filed, a 900 square-foot press box, new restrooms and concession stands, and elevated spectator plazas.
There will be a pregame tailgate party at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the reopening of the stadium. There will also be a pregame fireworks display.
It should be a pretty great football game, too. Lake Highlands (5-2, 4-0) is tied for first place with Skyline in the District 9-5A standings, while Jesuit (4-3, 3-1) is just a game back.
