But just in case you were considering defecting to the likes of Tom Thumb or Central Market today, I thought I’d let you know of a pretty cool deal going on at Whole Foods at Highland Park.

It’s Community Giving Day, and that means that 5 percent of net sales will be donated to the International House of Blues Foundation, which provides arts programs and instruments for youth and training for teachers.

Blues Schoolhouse Musicians will be on hand to entertain shoppers from 7 to 8 p.m. in the cafe.
