Meet Park Cities’ Most Arrested Man

Pick up this week’s edition of Park Cities People to find out a little bit more about Marx Dale Billingsley (left). The man, who is most often referred to as “the window washer,” has been arrested more times than I can count on my fingers and toes. University Park residents have spotted him at various places and bus stops throughout the city, often carrying a bucket and a squeegee. Read the whole story to learn why Billingsley continues to go block-by-block and door-to-door despite several warnings from police and what you should do if you happen to encounter him.

I thought he got arrested all those times for the free Bubba’s fried chicken that the jail served. Serious.

That looks like an Andy Warhol album cover.

It’s probably too late for Marx Dale to be the parade Grand Marshall, but I bet he’s available to ride on the PCP float.

will someone please tell me what he’s done? i mean, other than window washing, which i assume isn’t a crime. my husband hired him (unbeknownst to me) a couple months ago and then he turned up on my doorstep after 10 pm one night and i would not open the door.

    is he a thief? dangerous?

@bobs mom: I answer those questions in the story. He’s been arrested for soliciting without a permit and disorderly conduct. He does have more serious priors.
