Author To Spice Up West Village NOLA Style
Illya Roberts, author of Twelve Months of New Orleans Cooking, will visit Cork in the West Village from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. The NBC Channel 5 employee penned the book, which features Creole recipes that compliment each month of the year, as a homage to her native city. Roberts details how to make seasonal varieties of “Big Easy” entrees with a Creole and Italian fusion flavor. We’re talking dishes like butter spaghetti with shrimp and mushrooms.
