Merritt Tackles Bradfield Fiasco in Print
I run the risk of returning to nasty comment territory by bringing up the Bradfield Yearbook Fiasco of 2010, but I wanted to point out that said fiasco is the subject of a very funny column by Merritt Patterson in this week’s edition of Park Cities People.
As you know, we don’t put the newspaper’s content online anymore, but here’s a taste to tempt you non-subscribers into buying a copy:
So when she took her Mona Lisa of yearbooks to the Bradfield principal, Dr. Gloria McNutt, for final approval, she was stunned. Not just because McNutt didn’t ask for her autograph but because she didn’t approve the book, citing rules violations on a few pages.
The “ask for her autograph” line made me laugh out loud. To find a copy of the paper, click on “rack locations” on the left side of our home page.
I really wish that you would consider putting the paper online behind a password for subscribers. I hate it when I leave town on Thursday before the PCP arrives!
