Leslie Melson Passes Baton
As of this week, we are officially saying goodbye to Leslie Melson as HPISD board president. At the most recent school board meeting, she was issued a resolution in honor of her time and service. Joe Taylor was also voted the next president.
While looking for the perfect way to commemorate this chapter’s closing, we found this little ol’ photo in our archives. To be honest, we don’t even remember the circumstances surrounding it, but hey. Let’s take a minute to applaud that 1990s star sweater. Thanks for everything, Leslie!
