Highland Park Has a New Mascot
I just came up for air to see this big bunch of fluffy cuteness, courtesy of Detective Marty Nevil, Highland Park’s spokesperson. Apparently, when clearing the lot at 4800 Drexel Drive, crews found four owlets. They were taken to an animal rescue center, said the town engineer Meran Dadgostar. This gem came from town administrator Bill Lindley:
I thought you would enjoy seeing the picture of our very own HP owl.
Nice to see our employees being aware of the surroundings and careful to
protect the owl. It is a good thing it was not a Brown Eagle or Meran
would still be probably being chased!
So cute! Lord, coyotes at the country club & owls on Drexel…what’s next?
Merritt the Chi Omega must be ecstatic.
MK-Cougars everywhere.
