Kramer Takes a Spin With Pizza Concept
Former Park Cities resident Mike Kramer is a partner in Spin! Neapolitan Pizza, which plans to open three locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area between November and next May.
The first location will open in Southlake Town Square, followed by those at Canyon Creek Plaza in Richardson and in Las Colinas. The eatery focuses on hand-spun, stone-fired pizzas, along with an extensive selection of wines, salads, soups, and sandwiches.
Kramer recently moved out of the Park Cities to return to his hometown of Kansas City, where the pizza business is based.
DO NOT patronize this new restaurant. Mike Kramer was the COO of JC Penney during the Ron Johnson era and actually did more damage to the company than Ron himself. Kramer made public comments such as saying the employees of JCP “disgusted” him and that he “hated the culture” there. He verbally assaulted many employees to their faces (I personally witnessed this on multiple occasions) and spent money like a drunken sailor while COO.
Now that he’s run off to Kansas City, let’s help him leave the DFW area for good by not stepping foot into this new pizza venture. There are so many locally owned pizza joints that respected families run (Amore, Dough, etc) that deserve our money!
