Celebrate Julia Child’s Birthday with Rise No. 1
Quite a few important people were born in August — our publisher Pat Martin was born on the 9th, I was born on the 20th, and fellow staff writer Sarah Bennett was born on the 15th.
While I’d like to say that Rise No. 1 is throwing a souffle party for Sarah, that unfortunately isn’t the case. The celebration is for the cooking phenomenon Sarah shares a birthday with — Julia Childs.
