Barnes & Noble to Host ‘Notebook’ Author
I’ve never read The Notebook. Nor have I seen the film adaptation. But I just became a fan of Nicholas Sparks after reading this promotional copy for his upcoming appearance at Barnes & Noble:
Sparks is a sort of national sweetheart — a good-looking family man who writes heart-tugging novels that rarely fail to elicit tears or book sales.
The man who presumably had the chutzpah to sign off on that will sign copies of Safe Haven beginning at 7 p.m. Monday in the Lincoln Park shopping center.
