Area Schools Remain Closed, Sports Cancelled
Highland Park ISD, Dallas ISD, and other Dallas area schools have announced that they will remain closed on Friday due to continued inclement weather and mobility issues for staff.
Many sports and extracurricular activities have also been cancelled.
A winter storm warning and weather advisory remained in effect for North and Central Texas through early Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
