The three-time honoree has lived in Dallas since attending SMU. She and her husband, Terry, have three sons, two who have graduated from Highland Park High School, and one who is a senior there. The family also has two labrador retrievers. She is board president of La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas, chaired the 2023 Salvation Army Fashion Show and Luncheon, and served as this year’s charity selection chairman for the Crystal Charity Ball. Charity selection, she said, is at the heart of the Ball and involves researching multiple charities over a six-month period. She is also a supporter of the Senior Source.

Tell us about yourself, your work, and family connection to the Dallas community?

I have been in Dallas since attending SMU. I have a wonderful husband, Terry, who grew up in Dallas and also graduated from SMU. We have three amazing boys, two who graduated from Highland Park High School and attended/ attend the University of Texas and another who currently is a Highland Park High School senior.  We also have a feisty black Lab and a sweet Silver lab who keep me busy.

Is this your first time to be recognized at the CCB 10 Best Dressed annual Fashion Show and luncheon? If not, how many times have you gotten this recognition?

This is my third  year to be recognized.

What charities are you currently supporting and why?

Crystal Charity Ball because of their long-term support of children in need in Dallas, The Salvation Army because of their focus on homelessness, poverty, and addiction, La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas because of their efforts to support HPISD and the Park Cities Community, and the Senior Source, who provides much needed assistance and programs to older adults in Dallas.

What roles have you held in Dallas?

This year I served as Charity Selection Chairman for Crystal Charity Ball. Charity Selection is the heart of CCB. We thoroughly research multiple charities over a 6-month period and vote on which ones we carry forward to fundraise for all year.

I chaired the 2023 Salvation Army Fashion Show and Luncheon. I am proud of the success of the event, how it has grown, and how our generous community raises funds for some of our most vulnerable neighbors in Dallas.
