HP Gymnasts Prepare for District Meet
Highland Park gymnasts wrapped up their regular-season schedule with a runner-up finish in the boys team standings at an optional meet on March 3 in Garland.
Austin Chapman won three events for the Scots, while Ryder Greene took gold on two events and was second in the all-around standings.
Next up, HP’s boys and girls will compete in a district meet at Irving High School, with compulsories set for Wednesday and optionals on Thursday. Top athletes and teams will qualify for the regional meet, hosted by HP on April 13-14.
