Pedestrian Injured After Getting Hit By Vehicle

University Park Police Chief Bill Mathes said a pedestrian trying to cross Airline Road at University Boulevard was hit by a vehicle around 11 a.m. March 7.

“A vehicle was traveling westbound (at) 3000 University and failed to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk attempting to cross Airline,” Mathes explained.

He said the pedestrian was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and released.
