Huang, Zhu Lead Blue Wave in Mansfield
Highland Park finished fourth in the team standings among 21 schools competing at the recent Debbie Weems Invitational swimming meet in Mansfield.
The Blue Wave earned three gold medals, including Angelina Huang in the girls 100 backstroke and Ruihan Zhu in the boys 100 breaststroke. Huang also contributed to a winning time in the girls 200 medley relay alongside teammates MaxMcAllister, Bella Dewhirst, and Lydia Westcott.
After a holiday break, HP will host its final dual meet of the season on Jan. 10 against Lovejoy, followed by the District 7-6A meet on Jan. 27 at Jesuit Dallas.
