CC Young Senior Living Has a New Art Gallery
CC Young Senior Living recently unveiled its Aver-Phillips Art Gallery, located in The Vista on the CC Young campus.
The gallery concept came from the vision of Denise Aver-Phillips, former CC Young vice president of community outreach, and her husband, Steve Phillips. The couple’s passion for art translated to the gallery as they wanted the campus to have a place to display art and allow residents, families, team members, visitors, and artists to celebrate the work.
Art featured includes work by Anthony Byrnes, Shean Davis, Michael Gilespie, Michael Holter, Elaine Cash Jary, Eli Lorenz, Karen Martin, Jonesy McConnell, Elisabeth Schalij, LeeAnne Stone, Jerry McCay, Muriel Mimura, Gaylord O’Con, Mary Anne Whittle, and Jacque Wacker. Many of these artists attended the gallery’s July 21 dedication ceremony and reception, “Young at HeART.”
