KidneyTexas Reveals Honorary Chairs, Theme For 2022 Luncheon and Fashion Show
KidneyTexas recently hosted its spring tea at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
During the spring tea, Dr. Carla Russo, luncheon and fashion show chair, revealed the logo for the Runway Report 2022 luncheon and fashion show, a butterfly with wings filled with a colorful collage of design inspired by different fabrics. The luncheon and fashion show theme is On Wings of Hope and Transformation.
Russo introduced Jeanne Lewis as honorary chair and recognized committee chairs who were in attendance: underwriting in-kind donations chair, Carol Welwood, and live and silent auction co-chair Elizabeth Smith.
Slated for Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center, the luncheon and fashion show will feature a formal floor-level fashion presentation, with fashions from long-term partner Tootsies, joined this year by Betty Reiter, Nardos Design, and others to be announced, produced by Jan Strimple Productions. The event also includes live and silent auctions and is topped off with a delicious luncheon. Scott Murray is returning as emcee.
Beneficiaries are Baylor Health Care System Foundation, Camp Reynal, Children’s Medical Center Foundation, Southwest Transplant Alliance, and Texas Health Resources Foundation.
