Would You Please Sign for This F-Bomb?

Okay, this must stop.  I have previously commented about our letter carrier speaking loudly into her cell phone while she approaches houses to (mis)deliver mail, but today she was engaged in a heated conversation that was as follows (in an edited form for this family blog):  “No, f___ that!  She can just f____ that!  No, no, that’s f______ed up!”  And so on.

And remember, this was at top volume as she walked up and down the street, even bobbing her head from side to side as she did so.  All she needed was a caption scrolling beneath her, a la Jerry Springer.

Not that I have a problem with coarse language, but I prefer it on my own terms.

I’m most interested in to what, “She can just f____ that!” was referring. I guess “that” has to be a person?

Careful Charles. When you reference the US Postal Service and bombs together, the ATF gets nervous.

Charles, at the risk of receiving an F-bomb from you, it is actually spelled “coarse”, not “course”. IJS.

You can file a complaint via the usps.gov website and they will actually follow up with you! BTW, I just narrowly missed being run over by a mailtruck driving, bluetooth wearing/chatting postal worker.

I have a feeling that alot of your mail is going to get “lost”, if you know what I mean.

Sigh. I can’t slip a typo past anyone. Because I was heading to the golf “coarse,” I must have been preoccupied.

I was at the Turtle Creek Post office a few weeks ago and as I was entering…there was an older employee sitting in a chair clipping his nails in front of us. Only 1 post office employee was helping the 4 people waiting in line.

But if you complain and they fire her, who will deliver all the crud that fills my recycling bin?

So funny! Hey if you ever decide to conduct some sort of poll of the area mail carriers will you ask them why none uses one of those push carts? I can’t believe they would choose to haul those heavy bags door to door when they could save their backs. They look mobile enough to fit into the back of the trucks.

Because everyone’s got a mailbox on their front porch here, pushing a cart across front yards would be difficult to impossible.

kmom, I know. My mailbox is on the front porch like everyone else’s. I still think it would be healthier to push the cart down the sidewalk, stop at each house and go up each sidewalk to the house. Maybe if they had two hands to sort they wouldn’t make the enormous # of mistakes. We even have those convenient ramps at every corner now. I think any chiropractor would agree this would be better on the back.

Floyd is the BEST ever! We moved from his route to another, and it’s not good.

Sometimes he subs for our area, and it’s such a treat to see him.
