Polar Express Makes a Stop at Winston
There might not be any snow on the ground here in Texas, but that didn’t stop students at The Winston School from traveling together on the Polar Express, courtesy of some imaginative engineers in the Upper Elementary levels.
The students treated their Lower School classmates to rides on the magical train this week after transforming a classroom into a railroad car. On the day of the ride itself, the passengers were told to wear pajamas to make the experience feel more authentic.
The conductors distributed and collected tickets outside the imaginary train depot, and the Lower School students enjoyed hot chocolate to help set the mood as they listed to the Polar Express audio book.
