Bears Get Another Shot at TAPPS Volleyball Title
Ursuline has become a staple at the TAPPS state volleyball tournament in recent years, but has yet to bring home that elusive title.
The Bears lost to rival Bishop Lynch in the state semifinals two years ago, and last year, they fell to the Friars again in the championship match.
This weekend, the Bears (16-7) will have another chance. Ursuline will face Houston St. Agnes in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. today in Corsicana. The winner will meet either Bishop Lynch or San Antonio Antonian in the title match at 7 p.m. Saturday.
