CFT to Host Panel on Nonprofit Involvement
Communities Foundation of Texas will hold the latest event in its “Cause-Minded Conversations” series on Wednesday at the CFT headquarters at 5500 Caruth Haven Lane.
The panel discussion, called “NexGen Nonprofit Leaders,” will focus on how the next generation can have a lasting impact on Dallas and other cities. Specifically, panelists will discuss non-traditional solutions to social issues and ways to empower philanthropists and inspire community change.
The panel includes Jayda Batchelder, founding executive director of Education Opens Doors; Chad Houser, executive director of Café Momentum; and Reid Porter, president and founder of Advocates for Community Transformation. The moderator will be Byron Sanders, executive director of the Dallas Education Foundation.
