Social Media Expert to Speak at Winston
As the opportunities for social-media interaction increase, so do the chances to say something stupid for which you’ll need to apologize later.
Students can be among the worst offenders in this regard, which is why The Winston School Speaker Series is kicking off on Tuesday with “Understanding How to Use Social Media and the Internet from a Dyslexic Perspective,” featuring an appearance by author Tiffany Sunday.
Her book is entitled You Posted What!? How to Help Your Teen Use Social Media to Gain an Advantage for College and Future Employment. The presentation will focus on just that. Books will be available for purchase at the event, which starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
