Gym Owner Takes 6th Place at CrossFit Games
John Mariotti, co-owner of CrossFit Odyssey & Odyssey Martial Arts, took 6th place in The CrossFit Games masters division age 55-59 July 24 in Carson, Calif. The games are a self-proclaimed competition for “the fittest on earth,” attracting buff bods from all over the world.
Mariotti is a 6th degree black belt in TaeKwon-Do, a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, has been doing CrossFit for about six years, and has been teaching martial arts and fitness for more than 25 years.
CrossFit Odyssey and Odyssey Martial Arts, located in Preston Center, offers CrossFit, CrossFit Kids, martial arts, kickboxing, yoga, and self defense.
