Woman Stashes Eight Shirts in Suitcase, Tries to Exit

At 1:30 p.m. on May 20, police were called to Hugo Boss in NorthPark Center, where they were informed that a recently fired employee had taken the banking information of 20 customers.
Between 4:45 and 6 p.m. on May 20, a burglar broke into a black 2000 Mercedes-Benz SUV at NorthPark Center and stole a $300 leather purse containing a $50 Banana Republic wallet, eight credit cards, and a $100 Gap rewards card.
Between 5:45 and 6:10 p.m. on May 20, a thief stole a fire pit and shovel with a combined value of $300 from a driveway in the 10600 block of Sandpiper Lane.
At 6:16 p.m. on May 20, a burglar broke into Bread Winners Cafe in Inwood Village and tried to open the safe before fleeing empty-handed.

At 3 p.m. on May 24, police were called to Dillard’s in NorthPark Center, where a shoplifter was detained for trying to steal eight polo shirts with a combined value of $505.12 by hiding them inside a black suitcase. A 42-year-old-woman was arrested on a theft charge.
Between 7 a.m. on May 24 and 11 a.m. on May 25, a thief entered an unlocked gray 2003 Chevrolet SUV in the 5500 block of Stanford Avenue and stole a $50 leather wallet containing $100 cash and a driver’s license.
Between 9:10 p.m. on May 24 and 12:50 a.m. on May 25, a burglar broke into Radio Shack in the 5500 block of West Lovers Lane, causing $1,000 worth of damage to the back door.
At 10:30 a.m. on May 26, a man found a black-handled knife in a parking lot in the 5900 block of West Northwest Highway.
