Missing: One Concrete Angel, Pumpkin’d Side Mirror
The shenanigans — and hijinks of the sort — that are commonplace in the month of October might have begun this past week.
After 11 p.m. Oct 2., a heathen stole a $50 concrete angel from a front yard in the 4300 block of Merrell Road.
Between 8 p.m. Oct. 6 and 6 a.m. Oct. 7, a mischief maker threw a pumpkin at a black 2011 Honda SUV in the 5100 block of Purdue Avenue, breaking the driver’s side mirror.
Now is the time to quote epic, fear-inducing passages from the Bible to scare Halloween vandals straight.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.”
—Matthew 7:13
