Some Parking Returns to Plaza at Preston Center
The Plaza at Preston Center is slated to have a topping-out ceremony this Friday, architect/PR company lingo for “We’re getting closer to not spewing dirt everywhere.”
Tucked inside a press release about the ceremony is this nugget:
Just in time for the topping out, fifty (50) parking spaces have been opened on the east side of the complex, which will ease both the shoppers and tenants who want convenient access to Lucky Dog Barkery, Mel Crews, Park Cities Salon and Taco Diner.
Earlier this year I spoke with some shop owners on that stretch, and each had a different opinion on the construction’s impact. None, I assume, will deny the importance of parking.
