‘Rabbi Rambo’ Wants to Fireproof Your Marriage

Rabbi Lazer Brody seems like quite a Renaissance man. A native of Washington, D.C., he moved to Israel in 1970. Due to his experiences in the Israeli military, he is sometimes referred to as “Rabbi Rambo.” He hosts a radio show and a blog that both feature the intimidating title “Lazer Beams.” Yet he has also released two CDs of flute music called Judean Dream and Calming Waters, neither of which I would expect to find on the iPod of the actual Rambo, if that fictional character had lived long enough to see the creation of the iPod, and assuming I could get my hands on his iPod without him killing me.

Anyway, the reason I am telling you all this is that Rabbi Brody will be in Dallas this weekend, conducting a seminar called “Fireproof Your Marriage.” The free seminar begins at 7 p.m. Sunday at Congregation Ohr HaTorah, which is at 6324 Churchill Way. RSVPs are requested to RabbiMethal@ohtd.org.
