LBJ Construction Causes Preston Road Nightmare

The western half of the Preston Road bridge will be demolished this weekend!
Preston Road will be reconstructed one half at a time. While one side is demolished and reconstructed, the other side will be open with reduced through lanes in each direction. Beginning, Wednesday, June 13th, Preston Road will be reduced down from 4 lanes in each direction with U-turns to 3 lanes in each direction with the U-turns closed.
During the demolition this weekend, the following closures will occur from 8:00 p.m. Friday, JUNE 15 to 5:00 a.m. Monday, JUNE 18:
• Various main lanes, exits and entrances to be closed.
• Preston Road closed crossing over LBJ Freeway.
