High school boys and girls from public and private schools across Dallas will play lacrosse at Greenville School on Saturday to raise money and awareness for the One Love Foundation. The tournament starts at 9 a.m. and will be governed by girls’ lacrosse rules.
One Love was founded to honor Yardley Love, a University of Virginia lacrosse player who was beaten to death by her ex-boyfriend in 2010. The organization has been conducting relationship violence education and prevention programs all year at participating schools.
The organizers expect more than 200 students to show up.
