The J to Light Largest Menorah in Texas
The Jewish Community Center of Dallas is lighting what they claim to be largest menorah in Texas to celebrate the last night of Hanukkah Dec. 13.
The event will start with a tailgate party at 3 p.m. to watch the Dallas Cowboys game. During halftime, community members will light the 32-foot menorah while live music is playing.
The J will serve holiday classics like latkes and jelly-filled doughnuts, and K-Wheels Kosher food truck will be on site for people to purchase meals. The menorah will be on display outside The J Dec. 6 to Dec. 14.
