Police Report: August 31 to September 6

DALLAS

31 MONDAY
Between 9 and 11:52 a.m., a burglar broke into a house in the 4300 block of Fawnhollow Drive, but nothing was reported stolen.

Between 12:50 and 1 p.m., a vandal keyed a vehicle at Lowe’s Home Improvement in the 11900 block of Inwood Road.

Between 8 a.m. and 10:22 p.m., a burglar broke into Vintage Car Wash at Preston Forest Village and stole merchandise.

1 TUESDAY
Between 8 p.m. on Aug. 31 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 1, a thief stole cement from an open garage at a residential construction site in the 4800 block of Twin Post Road.

Between 6 p.m. on Aug. 31 and 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 1, a rapscallion stole the cover from a vehicle in the 6200 block of Lupton Drive.

At 1:32 p.m., a robber handed a teller a note saying he had a gun and demanding money at Chase Bank at Preston Forest Village, then stole some cash.

2 WEDNESDAY
Between 2 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 1 p.m. on Sept. 2, a burglar broke into a shed in the 4700 block of Twin Post Road.

Between 7:50 a.m. and 6 p.m., a scoundrel stole a package from the front porch of a house in the 4700 block of Ellensburg Drive.

At 11:35 p.m., a crook climbed through a window and stole electronics from Redeemers Child Care Center in the 8500 block of Craighill Avenue.

3 THURSDAY
Between 8 p.m. on Sept. 2 and 7:40 a.m. on Sept. 3, a thief entered an unlocked vehicle in the 4600 block of Nashwood Laneand stole cash and property. During the same time frame, a miscreant stole office equipment from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Nashwood.

Between midnight and 9:30 a.m., a burglar broke into a vehicle in the 4600 block of Bobbitt Drive and stole property.

At 1:38 p.m., a robber stole property at gunpoint from someone in a parking lot in the 12900 block of Preston Road.

4 FRIDAY
Between 8 p.m. on Sept. 3 and 8 a.m. on Sept. 4, a reprobate stole property from a vacant house in the 4300 block of Lively Lane.

Between 9 p.m. on Sept. 3 and 9 a.m. on Sept. 4, a burglar broke into a vehicle in the 5500 block of Glenwick Lane and stole property.

Between 11 and 11:30 p.m., a thief stole property from a house in the 3800 block of Valley Ridge Road.

5 SATURDAY
At 11:23 a.m., a robber handed an intimidating note to a teller at Chase Bank in the 4300 block of West Northwest Highway, but it’s unclear if anything was stolen.

At 11:52 a.m., a thief entered an unlocked vehicle in the 5400 block of Druid Lane and stole clothing.

Between 5 and 8:30 p.m., a criminal broke into a vehicle at the Museum of Biblical Art in the 7500 block of Park Lane and stole property.

6 SUNDAY
Between 11 p.m. on Sept. 5 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 6, a burglar broke into a vehicle in the 5300 block of Caladium Drive and stole property.
