Residents Get Update on Kenyan School
North Dallas residents gathered at A.B. and Scott Aston’s home to hear updates on the Imbirikani Girls High School in Kenya, started in 2006 by Clyde and Betsy Jackson.
Aston and her daughter, Mary Kate, went to the school last summer thanks to Highland Park Presbyterian Church.
“The gratitude the girls show is beyond belief,” Mary Kate said.
The school is owned and operated by the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) and now has capacity for 300.
HPPC has been continually involved in the project and with the PCEA. A mission team with 10-12 members has gone to the campus in Kenya for the past eight years.
