Old Prom Dresses? Drop Them at the Library
If you’re anything like me, each year you search for a charity to take old, cocktail dresses for young girls’ proms. You’re in luck — the Dallas Public Library is making it easy for you to donate formal wear of any size (and shoes and accessories) for girls who couldn’t otherwise afford a prom dress. Just make sure the dresses are clean and on a hanger. You can also donate a tux or suit for the guys.
The opportunity comes in partnership with St. Luke Community United Methodist Church. I’ll be cleaning out my closet and heading to the Preston Royal Library. For more information, email Melissa Dease here.
