Scots Fall to Wakeland Again
For the third straight season, Frisco Wakeland has eliminated Highland Park from the Class 4A state baseball playoffs.
The Wolverines won, 4-3, after nine-hole hitter Dan Harrington belted an RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning of Game 3 of a Region II quarterfinal series with the game tied.
Highland Park led 3-0 after the top of the first, but Wakeland got two runs in the bottom of the first, along with one in the fifth.
It was a terrific season with lots of success in the playoffs. Congratulations, Scots.
