SKULDUGGERY OF THE WEEK: BAD BREAKS
May 8 was a bad day for windows on cars parked at locations along Preston Road. Burglars broke three in order to steal vehicle contents. Incidents were reported at 9:57 a.m. at Northaven United Methodist Church at Preston and Northaven roads, at 7:07 p.m. at Preston Royal Village, and at 7:34 p.m. at Preston Forest Village.
DALLAS
6 Monday
Reported at 10:53 a.m.: Criminal trespassing at NorthPark Center.
Before at 4:47 p.m.: shoplifters took merchandise from DSW Shoes in Preston Center
Property was stolen from Ulta at Preston Forest Village at 6:18 p.m.
7 Tuesday
Reported at 6:25 a.m.: A criminal trespass warning was issued at Preston Forest Shopping Center.
Burglarized before 9:22 a.m.: a vehicle parked at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church on Royal Lane.
Reported at 1:42 p.m.: A sexual videotape was distributed without authorization at the Chick-Fil-A on West Northwest Highway near Lemmon Avenue.
8 Wednesday
Did the driver who hit a parked vehicle before 1:56 p.m. at Preston Center stop and leave information? Of course not.
Reported at 3:58 p.m.: A shoplifter concealed merchandise and snuck out of Victoria’s Secret at at NorthPark Center.
Reported at 5:22 p.m.: Property was stolen from a 75-year-old woman at Unity of Dallas on Forest Lane.
Arrested at 7:54 p.m.: a male employee of Macy’s at NorthPark Center accused of taking merchandise from the store and possessing marijuana.
Arrested at 8:43 p.m.: a 54-year-old woman accused of being drunk in public in the 7300 block
of Wellcrest Drive.
9 Thursday
Arrested at 10:02 a.m. in the 5000 block of Forest Lane: a 47-year-old man with an outstanding warrant from Collin County. Police said they found him in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, three syringes, and a glass tube.
Arrested at at 6:55 p.m.: a 49-year-old man accused of stealing from Macy’s at NorthPark Center. Police said he also had a pipe with burnt residue on it.
Reported at 8:18 p.m.: A vehicle parked at NorthPark Center was broken into, by breaking a window.
Reported at 8:36 p.m.: A radio of a vehicle parked at Preston Royal Village was damaged.
10 Friday
Reported at 12:40 a.m.: A window was broken and property was stolen from a vehicle parked at Preston Forest Village on May 9.
Reported at 9:11 a.m.: License plates were removed from a vehicle parked at Preston Forest Shopping Center.
Arrested at at 5:22 p.m.: a 27-year-old man accused of stealing from Macy’s at NorthPark Center
Arrested at 6:15 p.m.: a 29-year-old man accused of shoplifting from the Apple Store at NorthPark Center.
Reported at 10:08 p.m.: A pair of thieves stole building materials from a Rosewood Custom Homes construction site in the 6500 block of Pemberton Drive on May 8.
Arrested at 10:24 p.m.: a 57-year-old man accused of public intoxication in the 10 block of Cransbrook Court.
11 Saturday
Reported at 1:52 a.m.: A vehicle was stolen from a home in the 6600 block of Pemberton Drive.
Reported at 12:06 p.m.: Shoes were stolen from Salvatore Ferragamo at NorthPark Center on May 10.
Reported at 2:15 p.m.: A window on a vehicle parked at the 8500 block of Edgemere Road was broken.
Arrested at at 4:04 p.m.: a 45-year-old man accused of shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret at NorthPark Center. He also was given a criminal tresspassing warning.
Reported at 8:48 p.m.: A vehicle parked at NorthPark Center had its windows broken and property stolen from inside.

Arrested at 4:09 a.m.: A 43-year-old man accused of public intoxication in the 5000 block of Park Lane.
Reported at 12:40 p.m.: a burglary at a home in the 5900 block of Del Roy Drive.
Reported at 8:07 p.m.: An unlocked vehicle was entered at the 8700 block of Rexford Drive, and property was stolen from inside, on May 11.
